Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026

This policy explains how personal data is handled when you join the Squillify early access waitlist. We keep data collection minimal and use it only for the purposes described below.

Data controller

Etalyon SARL-S, operating as Squillify (“we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Luxembourg, is the controller responsible for your personal data.

Contact

For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].

Data we collect

  • Your email address.
  • Optional preferences you choose to provide (your role and your area of interest).
  • Your marketing consent and the time it was given, as a record of consent.
  • Limited technical and attribution metadata sent by your browser (campaign/UTM parameters, referring domain, browser language, and timezone).
  • Email engagement events from our email provider (for example delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, and spam complaints) used for deliverability and suppression.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data, and we ask only for a work or personal email plus optional preferences.

Purpose of processing

  • To send you early access, product progress, and launch updates.
  • To prioritise and organise the early access list based on the preferences you provide.
  • To operate the mailing reliably (delivery, bounce handling, and honouring unsubscribe/suppression).

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you join the waitlist. Maintaining a minimal suppression list to honour unsubscribe requests relies on our legitimate interest in not contacting people who have opted out (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Processors and subprocessors

We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:

  • Resend — email delivery, contact management, and email engagement tracking.
  • DigitalOcean — managed database and application hosting (EU region).

International transfers

Some providers (for example Resend) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention period

  • Active waitlist contacts: kept for a maximum of 24 months unless you convert to a customer or renew your interest.
  • Suppression records (unsubscribed, deleted, bounced, or complained): kept minimally — as long as needed to avoid re-contacting — so we do not accidentally contact you again.
  • Email event/audit records: kept for a maximum of 12 months.
  • Technical/server logs: kept for a maximum of 90 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. To exercise any right, email [email protected].

Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe directly from our unsubscribe page or by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Cookies and analytics

This landing page does not use marketing cookies, analytics pixels, retargeting tags, or third-party tracking. The only email tracking is the operational delivery/engagement tracking provided by our email provider (Resend) for the messages you have consented to receive.

Complaints

If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), or with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
