Roll Forward Contract Term
legal.contract_term_rollforward
Overview
You send commencement, initial term, renewal type and an as-of date. We walk those durations on the Gregorian calendar and report the current window, remaining days and a mechanical notice date when you also send a notice period. We do not read contract prose or decide enforceability. A successful call costs 1 execution credit.
Renewal windows are calendar arithmetic once the durations are explicit; hidden conventions would look like advice.
Reliability
TERM_LIMIT_EXCEEDED — trigger: a duration count above 10000 or maxRenewals above 1000; retryable: no; next: lower the count.
Context footprint
Calendar dates and durations only. A successful call costs 1 execution credit.
When to use it
When commencement, term length and renewal count are already extracted as structured values.
When the renewal rule still lives only in prose or you need a view on termination rights.
Powered by java.time duration shifts on the commencement, term and renewal values you supply.
